Admission Policy & Process of B.Ed.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. Course Admission

A candidate is eligible to join the B.Ed. course if they meet the following qualifications:

  1. Educational Qualifications:
    The candidate must possess a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or:

    • Shastri Examination (New Scheme) of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, or
    • Any other examination from other universities recognized by Kurukshetra University as equivalent to the above-mentioned examinations.

  2. Minimum Marks:

    • The candidate must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC candidates and 45% for Totally Blind candidates).

  3. Important Notes:

    • There shall be no rounding off of percentage marks. For example, 49.5% and above will not be rounded to 50%.
    • Compartment candidates will not be allowed admission to the B.Ed. Regular Course under any circumstances.
    • These guidelines are subject to change as per the instructions given by NCTE, Kurukshetra University, and the Haryana Government from time to time.
